Avanna, Miriam: Once was the time I could see so clearly Knowing the way that my life would be Living my dreams, no cares for tomorrow Time passing by meant nothing to me Chorus Oh Sweet River Flow and carry me Down from the Mountains and on to the Sea Love passed me by and I didn’t notice A whisper of promise just not meant to be I danced alone to the song of the Sunrise Each golden day a blessing to me (Chorus) Years come and go and my days grow weary Moments forgotten return in my dreams Warm summer days that went on for ever Places and people in my life I’ve seen (Chorus)
5.
Miriam: I am the wind on the sea. I am the ocean wave. I am the raging torrent I am the murmur of the brook. I am the soaring hawk. I am the gentle deer I am the raging Boar I am the salmon in the deep pool Who knows the ages of the moon, who, if not I. Who has been to where the sun sleeps, who, if not I Who touches the stars and knows their song Who, if not I. I am the leveller of mountains I am the ancient craft I am the victor and fallen I am the Awen that fires your mind I am the dew in the sunlight. I am the fairest of flowers. I am the mightiest of trees I am the meaning of the Earth Song. Who knows the ages of the moon, who, if not I. Who has been to where the sun sleeps, who, if not I Who touches the stars and knows their song Who, if not I.
6.
Miriam: Chorus Who will buy, sweet violets Please kind Sir will you buy Just a Penny for a posy For your Lady oh will you buy Pretty flowers they are fresh today Then will fade away Who will buy, who will buy today. I work for my living, no charity for me My parents are dead, which just leaves me And my brothers and sisters They all depend on me I'm just a poor Flower Girl As proud as can be. (Chorus) In black taffy bonnet and old tattered dress No shoes on my feet, I've no time to rest Selling my flowers from Stepney to the Dials As fresh as the morning As sweet as a smile (Chorus)
7.
Dryad 03:55
Miriam, Sweet Ann: Shy and gentle Dryads Beloved by Artemis You’ve guarded Oaken Groves Since Times lost in the mists You tend each branch and bough And watched your trees grow tall And mourn each fading leaf As Autumn brings the fall Chorus In this Grove on Sacred Ground We will dance the Circle round We will dance the Circle round You love each precious Acorn As a Mother loves a Child You teach them ancient Wisdom And Stories of the Wild And as they leave your loving care And fall to Mother Earth You cast a gentle Blessing On this magical rebirth (Chorus) Dance with me sweet Dryads Beneath the Oaken boughs And Bless me as I pledge to you My sacred Druid Vow I swear by peace and love No harm shall fall to thee This Grove is Sacred Ground And ever more will be (Chorus)
8.
Miriam, Avanna: I don’t know where I’m going But don’t wanna be where I’ve been I’m just a Downtown Drifter On the Freeway to my dreams I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket I’ve got road dirt in my shoes Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues I’m moving on I’m leaving town it’s time to move on The open road is where I belong I don’t know where I’m going But don’t wanna be where I’ve been I’m just a Downtown Drifter On the Freeway to my dreams I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket I’ve got road dirt in my shoes Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues I’m moving on I’ve hung around in deadbeat towns I’ve drunk a few beers watched the Sun go down I’ve made some friends and had good times But when you’re broke their gone I’m just a Downtown Drifter On the Freeway to my dreams I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket I’ve got road dirt in my shoes Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues I’m moving on I’m just a Downtown Drifter On the Freeway to my dreams I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket I’ve got road dirt in my shoes Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues I’m moving on I’m just a Downtown Drifter On the Freeway to my dreams

about

Introducing Songs of Gaia! At 65 years of age, Mr. Malcolm Brown is doing fine as a fiddle. Having retired from a career in business, travelling the seas, then he endeavored to learn music composition and found Vocaloid while looking to add vocals to his instrumentals. He is now living in the Isle of Wight, England, drawing inspiration from its quaint and picturesque lifestyle. Can't help but remember, and excuse me for the aside, a certain Beatles song. Doing the garden, digging the weeds. And making music.

With this album, he hopes to provide a condensed experience of his entire body of work. Folk, Country, World music, the whole nine yards. Here's to even more.
