I don’t know where I’m going
But don’t wanna be where I’ve been
I’m just a Downtown Drifter
On the Freeway to my dreams
I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket
I’ve got road dirt in my shoes
Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues
I’m moving on
I’m leaving town it’s time to move on
The open road is where I belong
I don’t know where I’m going
But don’t wanna be where I’ve been
I’m just a Downtown Drifter
On the Freeway to my dreams
I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket
I’ve got road dirt in my shoes
Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues
I’m moving on
I’ve hung around in deadbeat towns
I’ve drunk a few beers watched the Sun go down
I’ve made some friends and had good times
But when you’re broke their gone
I’m just a Downtown Drifter
On the Freeway to my dreams
I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket
I’ve got road dirt in my shoes
Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues
I’m moving on
I’m just a Downtown Drifter
On the Freeway to my dreams
I’ve got the Sunrise in my pocket
I’ve got road dirt in my shoes
Nothing to lose ‘cept the Downtown Blues
I’m moving on
I’m just a Downtown Drifter
On the Freeway to my dreams

Flores uses some of the best synth sounds I’ve ever heard and writes good songs but again the singing is just flat out bad. I feel like Flores has heard this criticism before and tried to make up for it with this album by using reverb, doing occasional whisper singing and just hiding his voice in the background and it still doesn’t work for me. I really want to like Flores but the voice just kills it. Dionysus Virus

Os samples usados são bacanas, tem uma força grande de nostalgia. Eu diminuiria um pouco o uso do slow-tempo, mas é uma preferencia pessoal. vinmegamitensei

One of the most underrated Future Funk releases out there. Chops are simple but effective and samples are well chosen. Swag vibes for a night drive. B)
